does anyone know how pre-law students at ucsd fair when applying to law school?

They do well - UCSD has a good reputation and people here are smart. But it’s not highly publicized because UCSD is such a science-oriented school. Not many people apply to law school each year from UCSD - at an info session I attended the number was only around 200-400 (can’t remember exactly). There is a pre-law society here and a pre-law fraternity and both are good ways to learn about law school and/or make connections.

hmm interesting, are there any statistics on how many sd grads get accepted to t14 law schools?
also, since ucsd doesn’t have a law school, are there any professors that would have connections to any of the t14 law schools?

[Newest stats they have on law school admissions for UCSD students are from 2006.](http://career.ucsd.edu/L3/sa/PDFs/PreLawHis.pdf)

Don’t worry too much about what school you go to and just think about your grades and LSAT. Unless you’re going to an Ivy, the undergraduate institution/LOR professor connections/etc. won’t matter much at all to T14 adcoms.
