<p>I'm really considering applying ED to Cornell in the future. I love the atmosphere, the student body size, the ample research opportunities, the academics, and to be honest, I love Cornell's prestige too. I definitely will go down the pre med track wherever I end up, but I think I'll major in the humanities, maybe anthropology. As far as advising and EC's go I know Cornell is great, I'm just worried about getting a good GPA, especially cause I hear the Cornell is grade deflated. Any current premeds at cornell have any insider tips :'(</p>

<p>It’s not grade deflated. Average GPA is 3.4, which is in line with other top schools.</p>
<p>Really well thats not too bad I kept seeing 3.2 as the mean for some reason.</p>
<p>The mean definitely wavers in that range, but it really depends. It does make some sense to major in something different besides like biology because it may help to boost your GPA if you are stronger at the social sciences or humanities.</p>
