Pre med vs pre dental?

Persuade me! Not sure which direction to go..
Where is there more job opportunities after pr I graduate?
Which requires harder courses?
Is one more male dominated? (Since I'm a girl this may mean less comp for me)

Honestly, none of these questions are something I would think should persuade you to pick either profession over another. Who cares if one has harder courses or is male dominated? Why don’t you pick the one that interests you and the one you actually have a passion for.

Dina is right!

But one thing to consider is that, Dentistry is more creative and artistic than medicine, because it focuses on the aesthetic appeal of a specific body part, the mouth and teeth, and how to craft it so it looks wonderful to the patient. Medicine, except for cosmetic surgery and cosmetic dermatology, is based more on pure science, like biochemistry, physiology, anatomy etc. It’s not as a creative in my view, just because you practice what you are taught in residency and medical school, and are focused on improving the patient’s quality of life.
