So is the Parent Plus loan school specific? If you are deciding between 3 schools would you apply for the Loan from all 3 or do you just list the school on the federal loan application. Maybe I just need to go on the fed site and poke around. Thanks again for all the advice.
The application is to a federal agency, but the loan is disbursed through the school. The amount of the loan can be school specific because the maximum will depend on the COA.
So do you have to know which school you will be attending prior to completing the loan application? When should we apply for the fall term?
You do have to indicate a school you want to send the PLUS loan application to, but it shouldn’t matter what school you select if you just are looking to see if you were approved
