also, it might not be of any consequence, but i placed 3rd and 9th in two of my events at scioly regionals (team didn’t go to states though :"( ) and have been rehearsing for a small speaking role (marcellus) in our spring play (hamlet), which opens this friday! i’ve updated most of the privates regarding this haha

This comment won’t be of much help in terms of chancing since I’m newly registered. But, I’ve been lurking on the forums for a while, despite not having an actual account.
Nonetheless, I just wanted to point out that some of these posters are being ridiculous. You’ll definitely get into the UC’s, as well as NYU. You have a pretty good chance at being accepted at the other schools except for MIT, H/Y/P/S/UC, and possibly Vanderbilt. Nobody can know for sure who gets into where when it comes to those schools, because top universities in general look into their applicants holistically. People like waswaswasnt are simply fellow applicants who are trying to bring you down to make themselves feel better. They are pretty common in the realm of College Confidential. Relax a little-- you’ll be fine.

Update on decisions?
Rejected from HYP! Idk if I applied to Columbia or not because they never sent me a portal, but I have an ID there - probably rejected there too, but oh well, it happens xD
Waitlisted at MIT AND STANFORD (!!! WAS NOT EXPECTING EITHER OF THESE AT ALL) & UChi & Vanderbilt (like a lot of others haha)
Accepted everywhere else, Regents at all UCs aside from Berkeley & Honors at UOP & NYU
It’s been a wild ride :~)
