Predict your Score! June SAT

Math: 800, fingers crossed that 30sqrt3 was the answer even though in retrospect i think it’s 60sqrt3. i just guessed
Reading:700-800, really don’t know
Writing: My essay sucked but I think I got all the MC right, got a 780 last time though so idrc

math 2…gosh, I might actually get an 800. I definitely got above a 770.

Thanks, bannedhero. I figured I was giving myself a little too much leeway.

i dont know if you guys would have noticed this, but on one of the math sections did you get ‘e’ for 4 answers in a row?

no i’m pretty sure I didn’t get E 4times in a row…

darn. it was the section with the cotton question, i think

don’t worry the cotton question was E.

can you remember if there were any other E’s around the cotton question? I’m trying to estimate my raw score

Math: Made one stupid mistake on an easy question, so -1. Hopefully that’s a 790 or, if I get really, really, really lucky an 800.
Writing: Probably an 800, but I don’t care because I already got an 800. Essay was really good though.
Critical Reading: No idea, Hopefully higher than a 700.

I think I got a 200 in each section, so…that sums to a 600.

Seriously though, does anyone else think that the May test was much easier but had a harsher curve? Will this curve be more generous, because there is a fair deal of uncertainty?

May: I missed seven and scored a 2260.
June: I missed- six to all of them- and scored a 600.

Math, if the section I think is experimental is actually experimental, then it’s an 790-800. Critical reading is probably somewhere around 770-780. Writing, it kind of depends. I think my essay is so-so, but the MC is probably all correct w/ 2 omitted, so that score is really up in the air… Three weeks to see!

2400 if the curve is lenient, 2050 if it isn’t

Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using CC

@swoony: I know that -2 wouldn’t be a 720, but I’m just factoring in my more-than-likely low essay scores. I always think I do good on them and then get lousy scores. And it’s rather discouraging when I always do really well on my essays in my literature class – but I also spend more than 25 minutes on them.

what would be a -3 in MC and -1 FRQ for math?

For me, an 760-800 in Math and Wr (as long as they give me at least a 10 on my essay). I was hoping to increase my CR score from a 720, but I think I screwed up on the vocab this time. I will be happy with a 700.

Estimates…
M: -1, 780
CR: anywhere from perfect to -3, 770-800
W: 10 essay, perfect MC, 800
Total: 2350-2380.

I know my math is a 780 because the international test was identical to the USA’s June 2011 test, and -1 on math was a 780 for those students a year ago. SUCKS that I may end up having only missed one MC on the entire exam–on the one section without a curve. But I can’t complain; a 2350 will still be insanely awesome and surpasses my goal! :)

This may be a dumb question, but on the SAT, does -1 equate to minus one question? Or does -1 equate to minus 4 questions at 1/4th of a point off each?

It’s minus 1.25

Math-500 at the highest, thats all im asking for
