I am now in the process of trying to choose between Cal, BU, and UW-Madison majoring in Bio with premed intentions. Was wondering if all the talk about grade deflation was true about Cal and if anyone has any insight on which will provide the greatest chances to get into Medical School. And btw I’m an in state resident for UCB but money isn’t much of a concern. Thanks!
How big is the price difference, and if you choose lower cost, will the saved money be available for expensive medical school?
Note that you can do any major alongside the pre-med courses. Since most pre-meds get weeded out, consider which school and major you want to graduate in if you do not go to medical school.
