Premed at Penn?

Does anyone know the percentage of undergrads at UPenn doing premed and applying to med schools get in? For those of you who go to Penn, do you know how people following a premed track are doing? (Do they seem to be handling their grades/classes/GPA well, or are they struggling?)

I don’t really have the exact stats, but someone said its around 85%. Basically it can fluctuate anywhere from 80 to 90% for schools like penn.

Longrange is right. 80-85% of applicants get in somewhere. That said, a LOT of people drop out of pre med. But a lot of people make it too. It helps to study wicked hard. :)

pre-med at penn, like anywhere else, is absolutely insane.
i met a ton of pre meds during nso, and a vast majority of them have since given up.
those who do survive have a great chance of getting into med school though!
