My child just got her updated score for her most recent test in October. She received a 68%. I was very surprised and proud. She has high honors and straight A’s , what schools would be good for her?
Is she open to the possibility of an all girls school? There are some wonderful ones to consider: Emma Willard, Westover, Chatham Hall, Ethel Walker…
If all you supply is a score, you will get no helpful responses as scores are not the way to choose schools, they just provide some context for the list of schools that might be a good fit for her. boardingschoolreview.com will produce a list of schools where her score is at or above average, and that is worth purusing, but finding a school that is a good fit is much more about what type of person your daughter is and what her and your goals are for her education than what her test scores are.
Is she sporty? Artistic? Shy or extroverted? Does she have any learning challenges? Does she have any specific talents that she either wants to cultivate or acquire? Do you have requirements for how far away a school is from home? Does she prefer a rural setting or does she want access to a city? Large school or small school? Do you require financial aid?
These are the questions you should start with. Her test scores will just help to narrow that list to the schools to which she has a higher likelihood of acceptance.
