Hi, I have two kids (7th and 8th graders) and plan to search for an academic or pSAT and SAT summer programs for them.
I have researched and found MEK Review, C2, Princeton Reviews. Which one of these or other programs would you recommend if they can help get a score of over 1500.
Some of the universities already asks for 7th graders or above for SSAT or SAT scores when applying for those summer programs. It may not be too early. Any suggestions for early preparation.
My friend likes MEK, and sent her kid for two years. I think you are referring to the one in NJ right? I have no direct knowledge as we chose another one. I think they both teach well.
On the other hand, I think given the intensity of the program and the background of the kids, their scores should not be a surprise.
My kid did not go to MEK, but in the center she went to, one of the kid already has a 34 in ACT, but the parent still spent thousands to send to kid for the summer. Yes, he got 36 and is accepted to MIT.
