Present Perfect???????

<p>When you use the present perfect, does the whole sentence need to be in the present tense:</p>

<p>Is this right or wrong?</p>

<p>The CEO has been considering a transfer to the state of Texas where profits would be larger.</p>

<p>Correct: The CEO has been considering a transfer to the sat of Texas where profits WILL be larger.</p>

<p>-----and-----------</p>

<p>Since a number of unexpected issues HAD arisen during the meeting, we were forced to remain an extra hour. </p>

<p>Should that be HAVE ARISEN and does the sentence need to be in the present tense. </p>

Huh, isn’t that correct? past perfect is used for something that happens in the past before something else in the past. the unexepected issues occured before the staying another hour which happened in the past.</p>
