President Obama will give a major address on the economy and the middle class on Wednesday, July 24, at Knox. He gave a major address there in 2005 just after he had been elected to the US Senate.

White House Advisor Dan Pfeiffer notes the following:

"Eight years ago, not long after he was elected to the United States Senate, President Obama went to Knox College in his home state of Illinois where he laid out his economic vision for the country. It's a vision that says America is strongest when everybody's got a shot at opportunity -- not when our economy is winner-take-all, but when we're all in this together."

I would love to hear any first-person reports from those on the Knox campus on Wednesday to find out what the visit was like.
