Hi! My friend is starting a new Young Democrats Club at school, and of course is the president and I am the vice-president. In the future, I want to go into politics and law. I plan to be very involved in this club, along with debate, ethics, mock trial, and volunteer for campaigns. Does it matter that I am the vice-president or would colleges rather see president, even though I am not the founder of the club?
Titles are meaningless. Do not conflate leadership with titles; colleges will not make that mistake.What matters is what you do with the position. One can be a strong leader without a title (or a lesser titles).On the flip side,one can have an “impressive” title and suck as a leader.
