Hi everyone,
I’m in the Class of 2025 and believe that my PSAT score will end up qualifying me to be a National Merit Finalist (SI: 222 in MD) and I’m wondering if the National Merit Finalist Scholarship is given to all USC admits that designate USC as their top school on the National Merit form, or is there a further selection process beyond that?
Thanks
Just have to be admitted. Many NMF are admitted and many are not admitted. Otherwise, you nailed it - list USC as #1 choice by the deadline and that’s it. Good luck!
@jsc8920 you can change which school you list as your first choice through out the year. For USC, you don’t need to designate it as your first choice until May of your senior year. There is a National Merit section of this website under Financial Aid and Scholarships. If you haven’t already, you might check it out.
