^Exactly. I visited Pton’s math classes, and they were awesome. I really liked them. I don’t know if I would want to concentrate in it (John Nash was a guest lecturer while I was there too). Ewho, I agree with your statement that I may be toward the bottom of the class as a math concentrator at P (or did I misunderstand you?).

Another issue is that WoodyWoo is appealing, but Stanford has the great IR major.

So, what I’m hearing is that HYP might have slightly more weight in those fields, but the schools are comparable? I’m just worried about being overwhelmed academically at either, but perhaps that’s just my insecurity talking.

Yes, that is what I meant about math concentration at Princeton. My S had very similar background as yours – if I remember your previous posts correctly. He may try to have double majors (including math) upon this time. He did get his first ever B+ in his life ( as I remember that your school does not rank? correct?). But in general, he has relatively easy time. I had a strong believing that he should have gone to Yale as Eric Maskin (the 2007 Nobel winner in econ) told me that Yale is better in econ. He chose Stanford which he thought that he would felt more comfortable.

I will not believe anything happens at the admit-weekend. It is for show. Ask students at other schools, especially at Harvard, they will give you better points to consider which school for you to go.
