Pretentious? Annoying?...or helpful?

Should I bring a resume to my interview?

yes, just hand it to them at the beginning and say 'i brought a resume in case you find it helpful' and they usually appreciate it, even if they don't look at it. i brought one to my swarthmore interview and the guy thanked me then stuck it aside, but it's still good practice. sometimes interviewers use it throughout the interview to ask you questions about your ECs, for example.

Assuming your interviewer didn't ask for one, I'd only bring one if you're shy. It's just not necessary and won't get you points. However, if you're shy, it might help make the discussion more smooth because the guy can ask you questions about your resume.

ya i'm not shy and i don't really need a reminder of what i've done, so i'm not going to bring one. thanks
