These are the things I’ve heard about Bard…

I looked at this school, and I really like it especially for it’s location and it’s English program…

It seems like an excellent match as well.

However, I’ve read that people say that everyone is competing to be the most individualistic and that if you’re not freakishly different, you’re an outcast. I’m pretty unique and “indie”, but not to the level where I stick out immensely.

Comments and feedback would be GREATLY appreciated, as I like this school, but can’t really visit it due to financial reasons…

Thank you so much!

what's wrong with the english program?

The OP liked the English program!
"I really like it especially for it's location and it's English program.."

Makes Bard sound a bit like Wesleyen.

Nothings wrong with it, it's very highly regarded. What's the OP?

I'm not sure why you don't care for its location - the Hudson Valley is gorgeous. The English program is quite good - I've taken grad/professional courses there myself.

the students seem to be very similar to others you'd find at liberal Liberal Arts colleges. Certainly no trendier/freakishly different than those at Wesleyan.
