Pretty Average Student's Chances

I was wondering where I can get in with these scores:

SAT's 1340 (690 V 650 M)
ACT 30 ( 33 Eng, 35 Reading, 27 Sci, 26 Math)
SAT II's: 790 US History, 700 Writing, 620 Math IC
GPA 3.7 prior to senior year which will be over 4
(Upward trend from low 3's frosh to mid 3's soph to 4 junior year)
Not great EC's: Track, Sports Editor of School Paper, Founder/ President of a teen issues club, piano, volunteer helping to educate local middle school kids on diversity
Should have strong recs and essays

I'm in the process of retaking the standardized tests (except for US History) and predict that my SATs will go up to around the 1400 mark, ACT to a 31 or maybe 32, and maybe a 20-30 point jump in the Math and Writing SAT II's.

Anyways, I have no idea where I should be looking. So far I'm considering some of the lower level UC's and Cal Poly-SLO (In state), Oregon, Colorado College, Boulder, and Boston College; however, I really have no idea where I can get into. What are my chances at these, or other schools you think would be good matches. My main interests in a college are that it be near skiing, it be strong in biology, and preferably (though its not a deal breaker) not too large. Thanks for the help.

your scores are not that average. they are pretty good

UC's -in state, i think you can go to just about any of these-UCLA and Berkley will be a bit of a reach for you, but i think you can get in
Cal Poly-SLO (In state)-in
Oregon-in
Colorado College-in
Boulder-in
Boston College-I think you have a great shot at this college

Have you visited any of these college's yet? you'll find that visiting a college is essential in the decision process, so if you can visit, do it! This will also give you a better idea of what you want out of a college. Once you have some general ideas of what you want, you can use some various college search engines, your guidance counselor, or college books to find some other ideas.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info. You guys seem to think most of these are matches or maybe safeties i guess? What are a couple reaches you guys would suggest? Maybe in the northeast.

Just to throw some more out that I thought were major reaches:
NYU
Middlebury
Amherst (Not a chance in hell I'd get in)
Colby
Bates

NYU - Very good chance
Middlebury - not too bad
Amherst - noy
Colby - good chance
Bates - good chance
