Previous AP Scores

Hey ! Well I'm a rising Junior who has already taken one AP class (AP Biology) . Next year , I'm scheduled to take 5 of the following AP classes :

1 . AP Human Geography
2 . AP Calculus AB
3 . AP English Language
4 . AP US History
5 . AP Chemistry

I'm really nervous because I know juggling 5 AP classes , along with 5 other AP Tests in May will be both challenging and stressful . So I just wanted to know what other people have received on these AP exams (including AP Bio) . And if you are eagerly waiting for this year's exam scores and you've taken any of these classes this year , can you please tell me what you think you got on the AP exam ?

Thanks ! (:

Oh , and I'm pretty sure that I got a 4 or 5 on the AP Biology exam !

I got 4s on APUSH and AP Eng/Lang. I took Calc AB this year and I think I got a 5.

for HUG, it is essential that you memorize definitions of terms as that is a large part of the mc.

I took the AP Human Geography exam after self-studying and I think I got a 5. I mostly focused on review books, Barrons and PR in particular.

I also took APUSH, this time with a class. I feel I got a 5. The books I used were The American Pageant, Kaplan, and Crash Course. Crash Course helped me the most for the exam.

Human Geo-Didn’t take

Calculus AB-Waiting for that subscore (but think I got a 4 or 5)

English Language-5
APUSH-5
Chemistry-5

I took AP English Lang and AP Calculus AB, got fives on both of them. For Calculus, I had a really tough teacher so the exam after that was a walk in the park. For Language, I think it has more to do with your writing skill than the actual class (i.e. Most people I know could have made the same score without taking the class).
Good luck!

Edit: Oh, and I got a four on APUSH. But I didn’t really do anything in that class past listening to the teacher’s lectures.

Having 5’d all of those tests, I can say that AP Bio is probably the hardest.

Will take 2011.

5 (through self-study and help from friend since he took the class and knew some stuff I need to know)
3-4. Don’t like prediction.

5 (main knowledge came from studying from a textbook and my AP Chemistry class did not cover everything)

My son got a 5 in Bio and 4 in US History (I think he didn’t study enough, seemed to be a lot of memorialization). Took Calculus BC and English Language this year but don’t have scores yet.

Won’t take or self-study

My AB Subscore for BC is probably a 5 (did that make any sense?)

Might self-study next year

Class next year

Class next year with one of the best teachers on campus

I took language this year. Of all the review books I saw, the actual test was much simpler. I wouldnt worry.

If you have a good APUSH teacher, it can make or break your exam score. Mine has around 70-80% 4s and 5s each year, and I felt well prepared.

For Human, just know the college boards list of vocab.

I got a 5 on APUSH - agree with ksonty93 about the teacher. I’m not a very good history student, but I had a good teacher. The REA Crash Course book also saved. my. life. I read it the night before the test, and I know I wouldn’t have gotten a 5 without it (especially helped with the multiple choice). AMSCO is good, but very long, and if you’re anything like me, you wait until the last minute and don’t have time to read it all!

I took AP Calc AB (I think I got a 5…if not, a 4) along with some other APs (CS, Eng Lit, Physics C) this year, so I’m waiting for those scores.

the crash course is a new thing, and it works for US. but I don’t recommend it for other subjects. it was terrible for AP Bio.

AMSCO is always going to be the best though. Our school bought copies to hand to students to help prepare for the class and the exam

2 . AP Calculus AB- Took Calc BC my junior year. got a 5 on the BC and AB subscore. I am good at math, so even though my teacher was mediocre, I thought it was really easy.
3 . AP English Language-took lit instead
4 . AP US History-took my sophmore year. Recieved a 5. Studied a ton for this. I had a really good teacher who had good, interesting lectures and many, MANY review sessions. By the time I took the test, I thought it was a piece of cake. By far the most I studied for any AP.
5 . AP Chemistry-Took this past year. I am thinking about a 4 or a 5. Didn’t really study too much. I had a good teacher who gave really good notes. I probably should have studied more since it wasn’t my strongest subject, but I still thought the test wasn’t too bad.
Took AP Bio my junior year. Got a 4. I didn’t really like how my teacher lectured and didn’t even end up really studying.

5 on APUSH, 4 on Biology. Pretty sure I got a 5 on BC this year.

wowww our junior year APs are almost identical except instead of AP US History I’m doing AP Spanish
and plus I’m self studying AP Human, not taking the class

AP Chemistry is the hardest by far. Never took Human Geography. Got 5 on all other

I’ll rank the list
1 . AP Human Geography
2 . AP Calculus AB
3 . AP English Language
4 . AP US History
5 . AP Chemistry

From hardest to easiest

AP Chemistry
AP Eng Lang
AP Bio and USH tied
AP Calculus AB
AP HG
