Anyone else who applied for the Amazon Visa during Prime days still waiting for their card to arrive?
I have not yet gotten the physical card but have started getting emails encouraging me to use it!
Still waiting for the physical card here, too.
Same here (emails but no card yet).
And the emails made me realize card hasn’t arrived yet.
And then…a local paper article mentioned a local postal carrier was caught stealing credit cards in people’s mailboxes and I really started wondering!
My card arrived in the mail last week. However, I only intend to use on Amazon, so I don’t need a physical card. The card was available for online purchases on Amazon immediately after filling out the form.
Murphy’s Law: Prime CC arrived today.
POTP (or Power of the Post, as they say on one of my game boards) - my card arrived today.
I see Amazon is having some sort of prime day again. I just want to report that the Eufy robot vacuum cleaner is still working great and keep the floors so clean that I feel like I have maid that comes in to do them.
I’ve thought about getting one for my D and BF who has a dog that sheds…I am not a big gadget person and I just love my Eufy (we call her Daisy!). We have nearly all hardwood floors with area rugs and I don’t see/find the covering of dog hair when the light shines anymore!
I have a cat and dog and we drag in dirt every day. It seems like I can never keep it clean. I just ordered a Eufy from Amazon to see if that makes a difference.
Thanks,
Which one do you have? Is the $129 11S model worth it or does it need the $249 or $259 model?
I believe the one you are talking about is the one I have below:

It will run for about 1.5 to 2 hours on a charge. It will make it’s way through my living room, foyer, dining room and kitchen in that time and the debris collector will be full if I do it 1-2 x a week. I plugged in the charger in an outlet that is behind the couch so it “hides” under there when not in use and when charging. You can set it to run daily I just haven’t bothered to do that. I run it upstairs once a week, main floor 1-2 times a week and our sunporch where our dog hangs out a lot (and that space is down a step from the main living area) 1-2 x a week. Our house is about 2000 square feet.

I paid 129 in July on Amazon day. Maybe they were phasing them out?
I bought the one for $129. Did not really research further so I hope it is powerful enough.
I bought the Eufy 11S on Cyber Monday 2018 for $149, which was a $70 price drop that day. We don’t use it often because it really likes to find places to get stuck. Going under couches is an issue because of fringed carpets. So when I run it, I have to block off certain areas and baby sit it. Then I watch it miss some dust on the floor and grab the control to direct it. It does pick up a ton of dust.
Would I have to watch the Eufy to make sure it doesn’t fall down the one stair to my family room?
I use mine in in multiple spots where there are stairs or a step it could go down and it absolutely doesn’t.
If you have awkward/talk doorway transitions it can get held up on them. We have one this way from our hallway to a bathroom.
Before I start it I make sure that any thin cords it could get to are moved up or blocked. I don’t have any long fringed rugs to speak to that.
If it gets held up anywhere I can usually hear it or it will beep and shut off.
It has a timer so you can set it to run any time day or night but I run it when I’m home and awake!
I think I need one for my upstairs carpeted bedrooms. Can it go from room to room without falling down the stairs?
I do my entire upstairs - 3 bedrooms, bathroom and large hallway in one charge. I don’t block the stairs and it doesn’t fall down them! I don’t have carpet anywhere in my home so I can’t speak to that - just hardwood and area rugs - and tile in a bathroom.
Edited to say it goes in and out of all the rooms on its own - unless you close the doors and seclude it in one room!
Mine is supposed to sense when there’s a step but depending on how it approaches it, it may or not pay attention. It has tipped down one carpeted step on occasion. Then it beeps to me for help. We don’t have a pet but it does pick up a lot of my hair!
