<p>You can't believe what you read in the papers, especially the total crap ones in the UK. But you can believe the pictures.</p>
<p>Anyway, a guy helping his brother "pick out" a costume for the ball doesn't really sound right.</p>
<p>i read theyve both been grounded with a visit to auschwitz so they can see why their behavior was inapproriate. i agree with millie, lack of judgement and poor taste, i honestly dont believe he meant to outright offend anyone.</p>

<p>Personally, I don't think it's a big deal. To wear a costume of a symbol of hate is one thing, to committ hate crimes is another. Let's stop acting like he's an antichrist of some sort. </p>
<p>I agree, he shouldn't have done it, being an icon and all, but it's not like George Bush went out and did this. Harry is practically a nobody to us Americans.</p>
<p>If Harry's complaining about all the negative press he's getting then I'd say he's dumb for not expecting that the press would have a field day with this (considering how they've hounded Diana and William). Perhaps he did it for shock purposes. Maybe he wanted some of the limelight.</p>

<p>paris, that's all they're supposed to do anyway. they're merely figureheads, just symbols of the state. So if their main job is to be the beacon and symbol to other nations of what the UK is all about, Harry by dressing up stupidly as a Nazi soldier isn't doing his job. Personally I just think they should leave the kid alone, and that people need to take a joke.</p>
<p>Being a Nazi isn't a joke. Harry was extremely dista****l in doing this, and he should visit Auschwitz. He will eventually be forgiven, but he deserves the public criticism. It's time that he grows up and does something substantial with his life.</p>
<p>Whatever his motive was, it's dumb to wear a uniform like that and have the whole world find out when you're going to attend Sandhurst in a few months. Just my opinion.</p>

<p>I think that his costume was distasteful...but I really doubt harry is a nazi! Although I did read about the connection to the royal family and the nazis. Supposedly the successor to the throne in the 30s or something married a divorced woman, who had connections to the nazis and they were both fascist lunatics. But anyhow, because of that he wasn't given the throne so it went to George. I don't really think the royal family serves any purpose but I don't want them to be eliminated or thrown out (aka...no more repeating of Czar Nicholai and his family...doubt that would happen nowadays, but still). I think it is kind of cool that there are royals, it is sort of magical...I don't know I may sound stupid. </p>
<p>O and ladies the better looking prince def has to be Prince Carl of Sweden...he blows Harry away (not that I ever found him to be hot in the first place)</p>

<p>Harry messed up- but I don't think he's a bad kid. He made a stupid decision, and William helped. I think a trip to Auschwitz is a great idea for both of them to realize that it's nothing to joke about, but I still think both William and Harry are decent guys.</p>
