Princeton ED Roster

I might as well jump in:
Gianievve-I thought of the girl from Chocolat
Astrix- Asterix from the French comics
Philntex-I first thought of a type of dandruff shampoo (don't be offended---it's just they all have names like "denorex," etc.)....but I figured it out pretty quickly. Phil doesn't seem to be too much of an enigma. (Cough, Encomium.)
randomgr- A random Greek (I saw the location, too)
Ilcapo- This may be totally strange, but it brought Ilamas to mind. Don't ask.
Zantedeschia- It sounds like the name of a country in a fantasy novel.
Gracilisae-I thought it was Latin, "slender" or "slim" or something (but I haven't had Latin in three years).
Princetonwannabe- The most obsessed of the obsessed :)
EncomiumII- a metal alloy
babouche- A baby
legendofmax- a children's book title (<--how original was that?! right...)
but also, i think of you getting rejected by Princeton and then opening up shop in the mall, with a little station devoted to celebrity sketchings (Orlando Bloom anyone?!)
Thanks, ilcapo. I'm honored.

hah - that will only happen IF you are rejected...but i am SURE you will get in.

no offense to you or your mother, kayoshin, but i can't refrain from saying this:
sugee in romanian means exactly "sucksss", said with a all-knowing content voice, like when you say something that proves you'd been right about smthing all along:
"Yeaah, your car suckssss!"... or something... haha.. so funny... eham...

yea...
ehh... sorry, i just thought... it was fu... funny. no offense, again

ok, so this is not what i wanted to say, but, check this out:
http://quizilla.com/users/coolhound/quizzes/

i found it funny, but that, maybe, is unconvincing, after my louzy joke
i tried 3 times, an changed my answers to sound like a ptonwannabe, but each time it came out... disapointingly.. harvard. :(
4-th time was the charm, though. :)

I've got a few safeties lined up so I don't have to fall back to mall booths :)

Good quiz, Pavalon. I got Princeton on the 3rd try....after Penn (?) and Dartmouth....ahh well.

Yea i got Penn too, and that comment was so stupid...
funny though...

i'm going to sleep now, to late here, tomorrow classes at 7:30... uh well. bye cc!

only sugee got something right about me :P I am a computer science major for sure :P
no I don't have curly hair: here's a pic of me I hope the adcoms are not stalking on us:
http://users.tellas.gr/~randomgr/pics/moi.jpg I've just woken up on this one =)

randomgr - omg, you look like this French guy I know! That is soooo crazy, I swear you two could be twins...but the photo isn't that clear, so maybe not....

EDITING LIST:
randomgr - a variation on "undecided" - as in: random major
Kebree - cheese (bree)
Philntex - a software company
Astrix - a star
Akashbansal - Jafar from Aladin
ilcapo - The Ill Captain
Zantedeschia - exotic&weird
garcilisae - garlic
Princetonwannabe - a Canadian aristocrat
EncomiumII - a metal (chromium?)
legendofmax - Legend
babouche - a baby
aqaqaq - a duck
JSSBallet - Ballerina
Kayoshin - a Japanese karate master - 'Sensei Kayo!'

Anyone else care to share their first impressions or word pictures? Hey Phil - which music notes are we?

randomgr - trombone/tuba/low clarinet Greek suite
Kebree - piccolos/flutes/high clarinet playing 32nd-note runs
Akashbansal - baritone/euphonium. And lots of it. Not the big brassy section, but the low, ominous one. Haha, isn't that cool?
ilcapo - Brass quartet with heavy emphasis on French horn. As in "Quidditch" from Harry Potter.
Zantedeschia - oboe, with that eastern belly dancer kind of sound. Bass and contrabass clarinets too. Very rich sounding (not rich as in super wealthy, but rich as in thick)
garcilisae - Middle-range clarinets playing a plethora of contrasting melodies
Princetonwannabe - solo clarinet.
EncomiumII - trumpet fanfare. Like 8 trumpet parts. Very sharp, very exposed, and all over the range.
legendofmax - Low brass central. I hear trombones, euphs/baris, and tuba, but especially lots of trombone. Very bold. Very brassy. Strong.
gianievve - low clarinet. Very velvety kind of sound. Hint of sax, but not much. Harps play in the background as well, but not consistently.

As I begin to hear more, I'll edit this. Haha, that was fun.

I think I'll put what I hear into the music program I have and see if I can't find a place to put it so y'all can hear it. Hmmm...

good one, phil....I agree completely, too, when I think about it. It is sort of funny to connect Encomium the Enigma with "very exposed," lol.

Haha. Those lists are great. :)

What kind of food are we?

lol, this is funny

lol. you guys are quite creative.

I love these little posts. So honored to be a part of them, tear, tear.

lol that's great philntex. You see to like clarinet, a lot.

whoever said I was a short chinese girl, I'M NOT SHORT. Ok just wanted to clear that up. I'm 5'7 actually.

and whoever said I laugh a lot and like pink..wow freaky. I got really into pink this summer but I will never call it my favorite color. So eight year old! ahh

Randomgr, whoaa for the longest time I thought you were a girl. as in random-girl...and I was like oh how cool a girl who likes computer science...

Oh and I got Princeton on the first try, lol. I wasn't even trying to pick princeton answers, except maybe bicker.

okay, legendofmax:

Gianievve-Swiss dark chocolate
Astrix- Hard candy similar to pop rocks
Philntex-what else but Tex-Mex?
randomgr- moussaka (or at least anything but tzatziki ;))
Ilcapo-spaghetti from Little Italy (if il capo = mob boss, that is)
Zantedeschia- something exotic, obviously
Gracilisae- (Gra-SIL-is-I, I think) a heavily spiced pasta
Princetonwannabe- "Princeton" doesn''t sound like a food, but "wannabe" is sort of close to wasabi.
EncomiumII- nothing too incredibly edible comes to mind.
babouche- eccentric flavor of mousse, maybe
legendofmax- hmm. maybe a "house" special at a truck stop, heheh.

lol
did anyone read the other descriptions of that quiz?
it definitely favors princeton; all the other schools are messed up =)
