As I post this on Labor Day in 2007, the Princeton website has a link

http://www.princeton.edu/pr/admissions/u/ep/

with information about 2006 regional information sessions. Those sessions are a great opportunity for prospective Princeton students and their families to learn about Princeton. Usually Princeton sets its regional travel schedule as late as any college in the country, but I'd like to make sure I'm not missing the current link, so I'm asking here, do any of you know of any fall 2007 Princeton regional information sessions and their dates? Is there another link elsewhere on the site with this year's information?

Best wishes to this year's applicants, the first under the new single-deadline system. An article I saw last night

implies that Princeton, U of Virginia, and Harvard, the three new single-deadline colleges, may be doing a lot of joint travel this fall.

Since our announcement, Princeton and the University of Virginia have also eliminated their early admission programs. We immediately contacted them to see if they might wish to join us for recruiting activities in November and December. Both schools have enthusiastically agreed

That is not reflected on any of their websites yet, as far as I have discovered. When I find information about Princeton regional information sessions, I'll post it to this thread, and if you find it first and post it here, I will greatly appreciate that.

Still looking for the Princeton information sessions. Dartmouth's turned up right after I asked in the Dartmouth Forum.

Thanks to parent sewbusy who spotted the link today.

There may be some revisions or additions to this list still to come. So far Princeton has more detailed information about its joint meetings with Harvard and the U of Virginia (the other two colleges that have gone to a single-deadline admission system this year) than Harvard has on its website.

Has anyone been to a Princeton information session yet? I still don't see one scheduled for my town, although I expect there to be one as there was three years ago.

http://www.princeton.edu/admission/visitprinceton/on_the_road/

None posted for our city this year, although they have done them in the past and they will be visiting son's high school. Kind of odd, since Harvard and Yale both came recently.

In my town, we always seem to get word of the Princeton meetings fairly late in the season, but I think there is one every year.

Has anyone been to a Princeton information session yet? What questions were asked?

By email from the Harvard admissions office, I just learned that Harvard, Princeton, and the U of VA now have a joint website announcing their joint regional information sessions.

They are taking advantage of not having to read early round admission applications by traveling more in November than most "peer" colleges. There are still lots of opportunities to meet Princeton admission representatives this fall.

Harvard, Princeton, Stanford and Yale had a joint information session for multicultural students yesterday in downtown Chicago. It seemed like a very informal event so I don't know if there was much attendance, and I couldn't make it anyway. Did anyone go to that?

According to Princeton's new site which previous posters have listed, they'll be back in Chicago on Nov. 6th and 7th.
