Hi all,
I have been aiming to do a full length practice test once a week for the past six weeks. For the first four I was comfortably in the 29-30 range (lowest was 28.75 which was my first week, highest 30.0 two weeks ago) with ACT released tests. I got the Cracking the ACT Princeton Review book - 2016 Edition and read through the tips and did drills. After reading through and getting better strategies and more knowledge, I have barely been able to crack a 28 (27.5 and 27.75) from the practice tests in the book.
English and reading have relatively been the same in level of difficulty, but I have found math and science to be much tougher. I have been struggling with time on the latter two after never struggling on math and never having any significant struggle on science.
For those of you who have any Princeton Review books, specifically 2016, how would you compare their practice tests to actual ACT tests? I personally hope they are more difficult, so I can assure myself I’m not getting dumber lol.
