i took one of those.......it was extremely helpful! my practice score was very close to my actual score. it also helps a lot if you've never taken the SAT before. it gives you a feel of the testing conditions. it especially helped me out w/ timing and pacing. when i took the SAT in june, i felt like i was moving slowly, but i would actually end up finishing 5-10 minutes ahead of time on each section. if also helps if you review test answers after your scores come back. the proctor at my site also said that they make the practice test harder, so that the actuall SAT will seem easier. (btw, my Princeton practice score was 2180, my actual june SAT scores was 2200.)

may or may or not have been skewed by inclusion of the experimental section

Actual SAT: 730 Reading (61 raw score), 730 Math (50 raw score), 640 Writing (68 + 7) (43 raw score + 7 essay).

Overall, I'd say it was worth it. The tests are harder than the actual SAT, especially Critical Reading. If you do all the homework and take all the tests, you can take a refresher course before your next SAT testing date, which I will be taking in September.
