Haven’t seen that anyone has posted about this tragic loss (apologies if someone already has). Kreuger was a highly respected economist who wrote about, among other things, that salaries 5 years after graduation were not appreciatively higher for graduates of the elites, as referenced in this recent article https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2018/12/does-it-matter-where-you-go-college/577816/.
