Princeton supplemental essay question

Hi,

One of the Princeton supplemental essay prompts is: Tell us about a person who has influenced you in a significant way.

I have already written an essay on teaching Chinese to small children, and how my students have influenced me.
Is it okay to use this essay to answer the prompt? I would be extending the prompt to include more than one person (all of my students) who has influenced me. Just wondering if Princeton is really strict on the prompt wording - if “a person” only limits the essay to talking about one specific person.

Thanks for your input!

Your suggestion sounds as though it would fit within the parameters.

The prompts are intended as general introductions for you to write about your own personal experiences; a little flexibility is fine.
