Gonna try to keep the resume short

  1. UWGPA 3.83** - 6+ AP’s
  2. Govt Neuro Internship 2 summers and 2 school Years
  3. Physics internship at State Uni
  4. Self Studied BC Calc and then took MV, ODE, LinAlg, and Complex Analysis
  5. Spent 5 years learning Marathi language (Out of School)- took 5 tests and passed
  6. 34 ACT, 35 SS ACT, 800 Math II, 780 Chem
  7. Rich Asian Male gng into chem and math (lol)

Questions: I know that you can’t give me a percentage chance, but is Pton gonna throw my app in the trash.
**Disclaimer: My GPA is not that great bc in middle school I took math and language and did not do well (got 5 semester B’s) but in 3 years of HS (only got 4 semester B’s) with only HS GPA is 3.93- do colleges actually care about MS grades

Your gpa should not include middle school grades. But as more experienced folks often say, these schools like Princeton, they look at you “holistically”, (ie, nobody really know what the AOs are looking at in selecting kids for admission!). Your best chance is to apply. Good luck.

Just an FYI, by middle school grades I mean the high school credit ones, Math and Language, nothing else

Oh, I was wondering why you included those. Idk how it works at your school, but my high school transcript has a separate section for the middle school grades that count as high school credit. So basically, colleges aren’t really gonna pay attention to it, at least that’s the way at my school.

So is it safe to assume I have a 3.9 UWGPA and what do think of my chances then, am I just a throwaway applicant?
