Private School With No AP Classes

What if you go to a good private school (not well known) which does not have AP's? If you were to take the tests at the end of different courses to show mastery, would colleges then consider them as a part of admissions?

Yes the colleges will consider them and maybe you could tell them that you didn't take AP classes to prepare for the test and maybe they would be more impressed

Colleges get a "profile" of your school. They will see that there are no AP classes. They do not penalize you for not taking that which was not offered. The difficulty of your curriculum is considered in the context of your school. Taking AP tests is not necessary. Very few schools consider AP scores in the admission process; that's why you don't have to send official scores but only self-report on the applications.

Lots of good private schools don't offer "AP" but the students do take the AP tests.
