Private Universities in California - Strong in Science

<p>Like the title says, what are some private universities in California that have strong science programs? I know about Harvey Mudd, but what other universities?</p>

<p>Also, do any of them have free applications?</p>

<p>University of the Pacific’s online application is free.</p>

<p>Santa Clara is strong in engineering and science.</p>

<p>Saint Mary’s College of CA is very strong in sciences but is overshadowed by UCB and Stanford. </p>

<p>Santa Clara is good too but I believe that if you are going into the nat sciences rather than eng that SMC is as good or maybe even better choice.</p>
