<p>totally love this class. extremely hard but i love it. this is one of the few classes that i have ever took that literally massages my brain.</p>
<p>Those books seem similar to the books that our stats classes use. One class is called “Applied Statistical Methods I” which uses the book Applied Statistics for Engineers and Physical Scientists by Hogg, and the other class is called “Introduction to Probability” which uses Introduction to Mathematical Statistics by Hogg. </p>
<p>I don’t know whether the 2nd class is proof-focused or not, so I’ll go through these books at my bookstore. It might help to note that it is a prerequisite for a class called Statistical Theory, which is required for graduate students.</p>
