Probably not and back-up

Hello all,

Next year I will apply for colleges, and I just needed some advice.

My record isn't amazing. I didn't try at ALL Sophomore year. I am doing better this year (Junior). I seriously doubt that I will be accepted into any major schools such as Berkeley and UCLA.

So I have a few questions.

Pretty much I've been in Honors / AP classes whenever they've been available, so I don't know if that's going to help. I will probably apply to the lower UCs and the Cal Polys. If I don't get into at least Irvine, this is where I have questions.

Is it better to do two years at, say UC Riverside / SC, or should I just go to a CC such as De Anza and attempt to enter a program which will go into Berkeley?

Thanks for the advice.

Well I forgot to put this in the original post:

10th Grade (i did bad)

11th Grade
AP Language
AP USH
Alg 2 (repeating to erase "D")

12th Grade (i plan on taking)

Hmm...most likely I will end up going to De Anza.

Or probably I have like a 95% of getting into UCR, UCSC, and UCM.
Is is better to go there?
