Problem

I received a letter in the mail today reciting that as of today my file was incomplete. It then went on to say that the university needed the following:

Recommendation
SAT I or ACT Scores
Transcript: Eastlake High School

I think they received things under the name "Jack Archer" or "Jack C. Archer" which is me. However, my formal or "real" name is Johnathan. However, in nearly every way, I go by the name "Jack" (including school, collegeboard, teachers etc.). I believe that may be why this accident happened.

The CollegeBoard web site says that Chapman University was a recipient of my SAT I scores. The process date was 12/27/05.

I will send the scores again if needed.

I talked to a school counselor and she also said that my transcript had been sent out. My school will be sending another copy to Chapman University 2/24/06 after we get back from mid-winter break.

My recommendation was also sent out to the school. If need be, I will have the teacher send another one ASAP.

I plan on calling Tuesday morning and getting everything figured out with all of my schools. Do you think this mishap will hurt my chances in anyway? I had no idea my school records did not use my formal name.

Also what kind of chance do I have at Chapman and other schools like Santa Clara?
