Does anyone else have a problem with procrastination? Any remedies to it?

I find myself waiting last minute for EVERYTHING! I have a 7 page draft due on Monday yet I feel like I should wait until Sunday night to start it, as I do a Sociology test(administered online, any time from Friday-Sunday.)

I feel that I work better under pressure. Even if there is a test one day, I will wake up a few hours early to study instead of doing it in the night!

But, I'm a bit worried because though I think I will make all A's in my courses, I don't know how effective my procrastinating will be when I get into upper level courses.
So, any thoughts?!

Most people can put off an intro arts or business class the whole semester and cram for exams and end up with an A. But with upper level science and math courses procrastination is a killer. The later concepts build on the previous ones and you fall farther and farther behind.

For most people, the work you do at the last minute under pressure is much much less efficient. You try to take short cuts, end up making stupid mistakes, and the work takes twice as long.

Unfortunately, my first instinct is to put something off and procrastinate. It’s a terrible habit. The only thing I find that really works is the obvious putting yourself somewhere with no distractions and the only thing you have to do is work. Which in most cases means getting out of your room and into the library. I’m still pretty reluctant to do that though. I’d like to hear some tips for over coming procrastination also.

My trick is to take lots of drugs for a couple of days and then feel so guilty after I come down that I make up for it by getting a bunch of **** done.
