<p>Are there sites, aside from ratemyprofessor that rank professors? What if a professor isn't listen on the popular ratemyprofessor.. what do you do?</p>
<p>ratemyprofessor.com is pretty much a student-run website. So all the professors that are listed are only there because some student wanted to review him/her, not because they registered with the site.</p>
<p>If they're not there, that could mean they don't teach a popular class, they are not consistently teaching every term, or they probably weren't particularly interesting. If there's no professor listed, you can list them yourself and be the first to review.</p>
<p>Oh, I guess you were pretty much asking: "What if my professor was not good enough to be listed? Should I take a different professor's class?"</p>
<p>Well, that site doesn't mean everything. Unless you hear about a particularly better professor for your class, you don't really have to make the switch. But yes, some professors are better than others for the same classes.</p>
