Profile Evaluation -Very Urgent..........

Profile Evaluation for Harvard-Very Urgent..........

Please Evaluate.........Please its Urgent

I am Ram Sharmaa

I did my Btech from reputed univ from india in electronics and communication.

i did numerous btech projects for which i was acclaimed...

then i did 2 internships of 2 months and 4 months at bhabha atomic research center
in india which is the most prestegious of all research centers in india

during my btech only i had 3 international journal publications in IEEE in my research areas.

since i had inclination towards MBA,after building such gud core background.
Then after my Btech I joined my family business in petro products business.

i Worked 2 years fulltime as a sole authority.

syd by syd i got 15 certifications in Finance from National Stock Exchange Body of India.

i gave gmat scored 730 toefl 105/120.
I think nobody does 15 certifications in finance.I have done it.

i want to do an MBA from harvard kellog wharton etc..

Please evaluate me???????

I don't know what the range for TOEFL is, but is that a correct range? I quick google search tells me that a TOEFL of 280 is required.(?)

I only mention this because your English and grammar seem poor from that post. I know some people write different in forums and the like, but man, that's almost drunken IRC-ish. No offense, but I would probably move to the US for a couple of years and work on the English.

You sound like a solid candidate for those schools. They may want more than 2 years of work experience but it's worth a try now, they can defer you.

As a male from India, you will need top notch credentials to get into a top school (due to the # of applicants from India). I can't say I know a whole lot about the experiences you spoke of, but generally anytime you have to lean back on what you accomplished in undergrad/internships, that is not a good sign.

You really need to consider how you stack up against other Indians as well as the average applicant. Given that your GMAT is a bit higher than Avg for those schools, I would guess that your GMAT is below avg for Indians. Unless I'm missing something, your work experience is less impressive than the average applicant to those schools. However, I'm not sure if you only worked for 2 years or if you worked for 2 years as "sole authority" (I'm unclear of the exact meaning of that...is that the big boss man?)

Also, your writing skills leave a lot to be desired. I have personally worked with several Indians in graduate business school and all of them have better writing skills than I do.

What? At least give us some context here. There are plenty of online MBAs, you know.

This is probably one of the very few times I have agreed with VW. :)

OP: Can you please re-write your post adequately. It is hard to comment on your potential chances to Wharton when your post seems to be written by a third-grader.

And please, keep your name to yourself; it's best to remain anonymous on an 'anonymous forum'.

Lastly, very few things in life are 'urgent'. This is not one of them.

I really appreciate HMom5 for replying honestly.

I looked at the OPs previous post, I think it's a troll.

But seriously, OP, you do realize you don't know how to write in English. Right? And you do realize you need to know how to write in English to graduate from an American college (I don't think you've gone through college yet...) and/or even get into a (non-top) graduate school. Right?

Seeing as Ram-sharmaa's true light has been allowed to shine I would say he'll do fine in Wharton or HBS. His arrogance trumps all those I have meet from these schools, most of who have been rather nice. So, I would think he should go to one of these schools and hopefully get an attitude adjustment.

Ok wild flower you win.I will definitely improve my writing skills in English.

^So, anyone who is critical of your candidacy must be "failures in life" and anyone who thinks it is good must be answering honestly? That is the approach to life employed by the outgoing President or perhaps Saddam Hussein.

I don't believe you. Why can't you write well here?

Am I not writing fine in last two posts?

^ No, you are not. The funny thing is that you would even ask...

(It must be tough to not even realize one's mistakes. Sorry, Ram.)

This thread appeals to my sense of humor
