Profile Question!

I already registered for the CSS PROFILE for my two early schools (about $27). Now that my parent and I have gone further down the financial aid process, we've realized that there's a VERY VERY small chance that I will get any aid AT ALL because we are probably higher middle class with a modest income.

My question: Should I cancel the PROFILE or fill it out anyway? And, if I should cancel it, how exactly do I do that?

Thank you!

you might want to go ahead with the financial aid process even if you're pretty sure you won't qualify for any need-based aid. That would keep your options open for low-interest loans.

I've also read (on other CC threads) that it's a good idea to go ahead with the CSS and FAFSA just in case you have an unexpected change in your financial situation (due to illness, an unexpected lay off, etc).

Also, some things ask for CSS that aren't based on financial need. It's really just a tax report for places to look at.
