I’m a rising sophomore at Brown and I just joined a program house (the social action house) and will be living there this year. I just realized that I (very stupidly) never checked to see if there were any house dues that you are expected to pay as a member of the house. I know that Greek houses have them but for some reason it never occurred to me until now (two weeks before I move in) that a program house might have them as well. No one mentioned anything about them last year during recruitment events or even at events for new members after I was accepted.
I know that it might depend on which house, but does anyone know if program houses have house dues?
I’ve already emailed the president of the house but I’m still waiting to hear back from her so I thought I’d see if anyone here knew.
