What are the pros and cons of rolling admissions vs the traditional type of admissions?
Pro - you have an answer quickly and you can either breathe a sigh of relief or learn where you made a mistake in the application process and correct it.
Con - you breathe a sigh of relief and figure what the heck, I already got accepted and give up working.
Pro - You need to apply early to rolling admissions schools so you are able likely to be done with the process early
Con - You are under pressure to get the application done early
Con - If you are counting on bringing grades or test scores up fall of senior year, you won’t be ready to apply early. I honestly see no cons other than that. Having an early admission in hand is a huge relief.
