I am prospective CALS transfer student, trying to get into the development sociology major . Does anyone know how competitive it is to transfer into the development sociology major in CALS as a junior? Do you have any tips for admission? how small or big is the major ?
Im attending a school that has a transfer agreement with the Cornell CALS . I have a 3.5 cumulative GPA , and I completed all the required courses for the development sociology major with A’S AND B’s.( Also did good in two of the recommend courses) I am in the honors program , I have done research with an internship program and in my school that revolves around social issues and sociology . I write for the the town news paper , and i am a tutor at my school for calculus 1 , bio and sociology . Im in the the biological honors society at school and have a real dedication to social issues.
