Prospective Students

Hey, could someone please post the link to the accepted students website for the class of 2011? It is the one that you received in your ISIS account.

Thanks!

( I'm trying to get one of my friends to apply and I want her to be able to see it. )

Anyone know how athletics fits in to the whole admissions decision? My daughter (soph) is an accomplished athlete in her chosen sport. Should I bring her to the attention of the appropriate coach? Will he/she be able to advocate for her at decision time?

Although I cannot answer your question directly (my daughter is not a sports person), might I suggest that your daughter contact the coach to ask about the opportunities in her sport. This opens a direct dialogue between the coach and prospective student. My experience has been that contact by the student is looked upon more favorably than that from the parent.

MHC is a great school that both my D's looked at. But both were concerned about remoteness as well. You might want to consider Smith. It's part of the same 5-college consortium as MHC, but it is located in the town/city of Northampton. Lot's to do in that town.

Bryn Mawr is also worth looking at since it's a 30 minute train ride into Philadelphia. The town is not as large as Northampton, but is a bit larger than South Hadley.

i'm a HS senior who plans to study musical theatre in college. is anyone here a current mt. holyoke student (or recent grad) who could give me some info about the theatre opportunities and their own experiences doing theatre in the five college consortium??
