Providence College or Loyola Maryland

Hi, looking for safeties to round out DD application list (targeting schools with undergraduate business programs.) Looking to stay on the East Coast. Was considering Providence or Loyola Maryland, but open to other suggestions! Thanks.

GPA: 4.27

SAT
Math: 740
CR: 700
CW: 780

Subject Tests
Math 1 740
Chem 710

Honors/AP Track. Varied ECs. Member of numerous honor societies.

I’d look into Fordham as well.

Heading to Fordham Lincoln Center tomorrow :)

state of residence?

Connecticut

I’d suggest that you look at the Rose HIll campus as well. There is a new, small undergraduate business program at LC but it is very limited. However, if she likes the available majors there and wants a smaller campus in the middle of Manhattan, it is a great option.

The majority of Fordham’s undergraduate business students and the more typical majors (ex. accounting, finance etc.) are at Rose Hill. Rose Hill also has a more traditional campus which seems to be in line with other schools you mentioned. My S went to RH and loved it.

Storrs is the obvious answer. A safety has to have your major, be absolutely affordable, be someplace you can get into, and be someplace you’d absolutely go to if it came down to that.

I’m not assuming you can afford Storrs or that there isn’t another school that would be cheaper. So have you rn the net price calculators for these schools. Can your family swing the EFC at all of them?
