PSAT 2008 national merit

ive been preppin for this all summer, though i didn see much improvement
but anyways
ppl say u can buy sample PSATs from collegeboard for 3 bucks each
can someone give me a link to that?
i couldn find it
and also
the highest score ive got on psat is 212 and normally score around 205 and in the worst case high 190s
and i have one month to get 215+ since last years cut in texas was 215
do u think it is possible for me to go from 205 to 215+ in a month?
u don have to answer this but plz give me the link

The booklets are listed by year and available here:

Product listing

You'll also get one free practice test from your GC when you register this fall.

As for the score increase, (almost) anything's possible, but the goal is more feasible, I think, if you're trying to improve writing or math, as opposed to reading.

i don't think they have answers though...you might need those lol

im aiming 80 math
70+ writing
and 65+ cr

and im just doing sections every day to prepare
i don feel like reading instructions and all that crap
i just take practice tests and go over it
do u think that is a good way>

The directions are, more or less, "choose the correct answer," so no, there's no need to read those every time. :)

Errr...doing a lot of practice tests is definitely a crucial component to score improvement, but for writing, it also helps to review idioms and common grammatical mistakes. For CR, it might be too late to start building vocab (assuming that's an area of weakness), but looking over some 100 "most common" SAT word lists from SN or CN could be helpful. Since you’re going for a perfect math score, I’ll presume that you’re covered there.

see
i know i have to review idiom errors and alll that kind of stuff
but i just don feel like doing that, which is not a good thing
and for CR i think i have pretty good bag of vocabs
at least im not horrible
i guess if im destined to be a semifinalist then ill become one and if not then screw it

If you are in any need of financial aid, I would take the NMSQT a lot more seriously than "screw it," haha. It opens a lot of doors in terms of merit aid, and you're actually really close to the cut-off. Just so you know, nobody actually "feels like" or enjoys studying for the test, but if you want it... ;)

Good luck! I'm in Texas too, but I'm shooting for 217+ just to be on the safe side. And yes, 205 to 215 in a month is definitely possible if you work for it.

thank u guys for ur help and encouragement
ill try harder now i guess
