Why do the results take so long to arrive? Last year they came in December for me. Seriously i know they have to do all the natinal merit stuff but 2 months i quite a long time for the results doncha think?

Well, i mean, there rae probably a lot more people taking a single PSAT than any SAT. It's not like on a specific SAT date, all SENIORS are going to take the SAT. The PSAT has ALL JUNIORS and alot of sohpmores and even freshmen taking it! No wonder it takes forever.. plus they don't post it online which is alot quicker. They send the paper out which adds a week or two.

The PSAT results are sent to schools in early December - so that's about 6 weeks, less time for Thanksgiving, less mailing time to and from College Board, given that well over a million tests are scored - sounds reasonable.

Count yourself lucky that your school gives you the score reports so quickly - there are a lot of students who have to wait until January.

Yeah u guys r right. It does make sense. Also for SAT there are so many dates so its not all concentrated huh?

^^ well if you're school gives them out really late, you can still get a feel for how you did by checking myroad online(if you have ever taken part in something part of collegeboard or hve an online account you'l prolly have myroad). They give you a range.
