Hey guys, there’s been this burning question that I’ve had for the PSAT NMSQT for a while.

I’m from Taiwan and I scored a 223 on the PSAT while the international cutoff is 224 but the Illinois cutoff is 215.
I took the test in Taiwan, but I’m an Illinois citizen and NOT a Taiwanese citizen. So which cutoff am I applied to?

US citizens living abroad are considered “international” for the NMSQT. It’s possible that the cut off may drop this year, it does change from year to year. Best of luck to you!
