PSAT results are in

What would approx. 5 wrong in CR be..

Too low for HYP.

im not interested in HYP...I'm interested in Cornell (and these are PSATS not SATs)...plus i have an 80 writing

awww poor run rin...

i dont think 5 wrong is anything to be ashamed of...especially if that's my weakest section

Haha I was just kidding. Don't sweat it - it's just the PSAT. -5 on the SAT would be about 750.

lol ok good...for a second i was starting to feel like my CC buddies were evil arrogant jerks : (

haha i think we all need a vacation

runrinct... i wish i had 5 wrong on CR. i probably have like 20 wrong lol ... im practically only good at math. i still cant get over the fact that is got a 690 on CR on the SAT... i should have gotten 450 =D

5 wrong on CR is not bad at all. Don't worry about it. Btw, anyone excited for results?

YARRR, they make me poke thy seister in teh booty!

I went to my GC, she said we should get them during exam time...

which would be Dec. 12-15...

Let's do a state breakdown. Which states have gotten them and which haven't?

im pretty sure no students have gotten them yet..maybe today

Some of you guys are being a little overreactive. The PSAT has like, literally zero weight in admissions. I had a freaking 690M/650V/550W and it didn't hurt at all. The admissions officers hardly give it a lookover. Just make sure you pwn up the SATs.

No admissions office will see your PSAT scores unless you tell them what they are.

thats not funny man.. i get in 400s in cr

jrpar: Sometimes you can't avoid it though. Like my official school transcript had the SAT AND the PSAT scores listed. I'm just letting people know that the PSAT doesn't really matter. It's just a chance to get some cash.

legendofmax - I had never heard of a high school doing that. In any event I agree with you that PSAT scores don't really matter all that much, other than for the (relatively) few that end up with NM $$.

jrpar: My high school was a little.... oh, crappy. It didn't know how to run things when it came to admissions. Regardless, money is always nice.

Yeah, our school does that. They photocopy all of our results from the test scores onto the transcript. That's why I don't put my high school down when I take the ACT's.
