psat test dates and advice?

<p>are the "alternate tests" and wednesday test administrations that much different from the official saturday ones? im planning on ordering the past tests from CB to get some real practices and i want to know if its worth getting all of them.</p>

<p>also, i am working to qualify for merit scholar (im at 215 sophomore yr) any advice on pushing that score higher? im studying for the sat and i dotn know if thats enough.</p>
