I am so worried I am taking the psat this wednesday and I don't think I'm ready! In texas the NMF score is around 215 but one year it was 220. Whenever I take practice PSATs I'm scoring around high 200s to 210 and rarely ever 220s my main problem would be reading I get most of the sentence completion correct but its just a few passage problems that I have. Sometimes I feel rushed because I am kinda slow during CR and I usually finish within seconds left, so normally I do poorly on the last few questions and I miss the questions that I don't pay close enough attention to for example there may be one word that I didn't catch and it makes the answer wrong. I usually miss around 7-13 I know its a lot Math would be my strongest subject, and I only miss at most 2 ,but missing one brings it down to like a 75 and 2 to a 73 I know how to solve pretty much ever single problem but there are a few that are pretty tricky. Writing I do pretty well missing around 2-5 I mainly trip up on the harder questions and some that are no error answer choices but I just always try to find something wrong with the sentence. I hope I can make NMF that would be my dream!

Since it’s the night before, my recommendation would be to enjoy the day, have some fun, and try to de-stress if you can. Deep breathing exercises help (I know this sounds cliche and corny, but it’s verifiably true!) And try to get some good sleep and have snacks and everything else packed for tomorrow. I do not recommend that you study for the same reason I wouldn’t recommend a powerlifter to pump iron the day before a competition. You want your mental endurance for tomorrow. If you get sudden bouts of anxiety about the test, I’ve found that journaling about it helps. It sounds like you’ve done a good job prepping and should be proud of whatever happens tomorrow.

Ditto Eatpoems. I am in the same situation as u and there isn’t much we can do now except do our best and hope. Good luck and here’s to us becoming NMSFs!

Do a practice and analyze your mistakes. And make sure the test is from the college board. of course in addition to whatever EatPoems and frenchgal said.
