PSU Schreyer vs Boston College honors vs William and Mary

visited penn state schreyer yesterday and absolutely loved it, and will be visiting bc and william and mary soon.

i still have no idea where i want to go though, i feel (though i could be wrong- what do you think?) that in terms of prestige, schreyer MIGHT be the best out of the two? and since it will probably be the least expensive as well ( in state) that's where i should PROBABLY go, however i really do like city life more (bc, even though its not quite in the city)

what do you guys think?

also, how do you think w&m compares to psu schryer?

William and Mary has more prestige by far. But it is expensive out of state.

W&M definitely has a stronger academic reputation. Significantly.

That doesn’t mean you won’t get a superb education in the honors college at PSU. W&M is not in a city… so if that is really important to you, don’t go to W&M.

I would argue that while Williamsburg is not a metropolitan area, the campus is suburban and only 45 minutes from Richmond and the Norfolk/Virginia Beach areas so while it’s not Boston, it’s not exactly rural. Hopefully you plan to attend W&M’s Day for Admitted Students on April 17. That might help sway you one way or the other.
