public libraries

hey, did anyone else accidentally stumble upon an amazing wealth of AP book resources at their public libraries? I had bought some, but I borrowed many just for the practice tests. they were also really useful for SAT II's. most ppl r considerate and don't write in them, so if you're low on cash or just don't wanna buy tons of AP practice books, check out your local library... hope that helps someone. :)

yeah, figured that out when I started studying for all these SAt and AP tests. But the bad thing is that some libraries suck and have few Ap books

Yeah. I figured that out after I finished buying all the books.

But doesn't owning the book and being able to write in it give you that warm feeling inside?

I've tried borrowing before, but I always seem to accumulate late fees. o_O Plus I do prefer my method of underlining like mad and writing all over the practice tests, which would be incredibly rude to the next person to use the book.

I just buy mine off of Amazon; you can usually get them for $10-13 instead of the usual $18-20.
